If it follows through on what we have already seen, we will see over 2.25. We WILL go higher from here, its hard for me to guage it right now with the news (remember, I am still a newbie, ive never really learned how to determine price targetsXD) In 06, the pps was over 3. I wouldnt think we would go higher than that.

I also just picked up a chunck on this dip.
I figured the $1.10 equity issuance is the main reason for the slight detour in price increase...

and for institutional investors to scoop up warrants exercisable 6 months from now @ 1.65 - i'd think that the company, it's financial institution that executed this deal and inst. investors all agree there's a quick short haul at the very least.

The question I still have not found an answer to is WHY the date is on the 25th. I guess I wouldnt play it past that friday except with free shares, if the announcement comes much later than the 25th the stock will probably drop like a rock until the announcement is made. (25 is Memorial Day). Wishful thinking, but maybe a decision will come out friday insteadXDXD

maybe going to buy some tomorrow at some point. i bought on friday at 1.49, but i had a tight stop loss and it hit pretty fast. i think the news about the stock offering is a good thing.

I think buying on this dip at the $1.14 - $1.17 range should be safe. We still have 2 weeks of trading before the approval. We should see a run up until then.

i was going to post this in a google forum after reading some peoples opinions on whether the stock dilution is a good thing or bad thing for the future of HEBs drug approval but i figured i could get some better insight from people in this forum...

"stop stating "why would they invest 15 million in a company if the drug was going to get rejected." There does not have to be an APPROVE or REJECTED decision made by may 25th, they could also DELAY the decision like they did a short time ago.

This institutional investor clearly feels that eventually this drug will be approved, whether it be in 2 weeks time or 2 months time. Which, if you are Hemispherix, means that if you are offered 18 million for some shares and you feel that you may have to do some additional research or whatever for the drug to be approved in 2 months time you TAKE THE GUARANTEED MONEY and make sure you are financially capable of submitting for final approval.

i bought in a few thousand shares at $1 and $1.14 and if this thing gets anywhere near 2 dollars (which it probably wont) before the may 25th deadline I would seriously consider cashing out or at the most play with free shares. i just think this stock purchase pretty much guaranteed that it wont be rejected, but I dont think it could be approved in 2 weeks time either. With such a publicized stock offering it makes me think that if the drug gets approved, there would be some sort of insider trading looked into by the SEC (although i could be wrong)"

what do you guys think?? does HEB maybe feel the FDA is already going to request some more changes before a decision and they are gathering funds to carry out those changes. Some people are saying that it could be so they have enough money to develop and mass produce the drug if it is approved, but since I have no idea how a small bio company begins mass production on a drug once it is approved i cant figure if thats a valid point. I would think that if a drug is approved that they can easily get funding from other investors AFTER the fact, and getting it ahead of time doesnt usally happen.

Any insight would be appreciated. Maybe I'm just looking too much into this

Your thoughts are as good as mine right now. Quite frankly, this threw a whole wrench into everything. When people state that "why would they buy into it if it will be denied" (myself anyway), are referring to the point that if this thing had no shot in the first place of making it through approval, these people wouldnt be looking to invest 15M in it. That is by no means a guarantee that it is going to pass, it just means that Ampligen is drawing significant interest within the stock realm.

As for HEB, I mean, they havent had a very good history in the past, and I dont know about you, but if somebody walked up to me and offered 15M for stock 2 weeks before a critical decision is to be made, I sure as hell would be accepting that offer, regardless of what others think. At this time, HEB doesnt give a crap about the share price, the only thing they care about is getting Ampligen approved at last, so announcing this has no bearing, in their point of view, on what the pps is. If it fails, they need more funding or could have financial trouble. They killed that problem by securing themselves additional funding. Wise business decision if you ask me.

I think the ceiling that can be put on this is about 2.00 now with this decision, but you never know. It most likely will not sit dormant though, look at past companies PPS as a decision nears, it usually is not the case.
