We all have to look at the bright side, at this time we are still fairing better than DNDN did when their tree got shaken.

DNDN - Dendreon Corporation - Google Finance

They went from $20 to $11, almost a 50% drop in one day. How's that for drinking your milkshake?

LOL Good one! Score one for the good guys!
It is now my somewhat founded belief that Adam is a great pretender. He has no clue, but he sounds oh so plausible. He mentioned in another of his great (not) articles that apparently Niacin, even in 20x the dosage in Acurox (40mg x 20), looses its side effects when consumed with food. Tried today, both on empty stomach and on full stomach. I call BS on Adam's assertion. Taking it with lots of food gave no perceived change. Surely, the side effects were not killers or anything -- they were mild in my book, but then I pretend to be hardy . Apparently niacin is better tolerated with aspirin or ibuprofen, but I didn't try that. Anyway, Adam is full of it, as far as I'm concerned. Or else I'm somehow super-sensitive to niacin. Side effects were per the book, no more no less.

Now I still don't think that Acurox is all that great (it has competition, at least), and I don't hold as much long-term hope with it as I do with Ampligen. Still, it doesn't make Adam's ramblings any more true.

I took niacin on a regular basis and they finally came out with the Slo-Niacin, slowing conciderably the flushing, burning and itching feelings....Great product though when taken carefully...

Default Vaccine pricing

I'm pretty sure Ace Spader's post regarding share price was based on Ampligen / CFS, but I could be wrong. For those who are nervous, I think it would be a worthwhile exercise if we could get some decent data on Ampligen as an influenze adjuvant.

For example, I had a blood test done a few weeks back which determined I had never had chicken pox (I had heard the story for many years, but never did anything about it). Now that I have a child, I need to get the vaccine.

Apparently at the local health clinic it is $130 per dose and you need 2 doses. Recognizing this is a bit of apples and pears I wonder how much it costs for a vaccine (I realize not all vaccines are same). So lets say there's a 50% profit on a vaccine dose. So it costs 130 bucks. Lets say the adjuvant is 35% of the cost. That is $45.50. If HEB is the adjuvant of choice for Japan's 20 million doses that is 910 million. Let's say GypsyDRB is a crazy man who numbers are out of whack...cut that by 2/3rds and you are 303 million which given the current number of shares outstanding is somewhere in the $2-3 ...

that's for 1 country. If Italy, or somewhere else in the world got amp as an adjuvant...well, then it would all be good regardless of CFS approval

But what do I know...I'm just a beer guzzling toon.
Gypsy...I think $130 per dose could be wishful thinking That must be a five-star local clinic you have there...

I've done some research and found that it looks like one dose will cost a lousy $2-3 and two doses would be required!

Glaxo SmithKline forecast the H1N1 vaccine would be priced in rich countries at about the same level as the conventional seasonal flu shot, at around Ł5 ($7.75) per dose.

And according to this website the Pan American Health Organisation say that it would cost a measly $2-3...and that's for the whole vaccine. I wouldn't want to imagine what cut the adjuvant would get!

Apparently if you go to France it'll cost $8

The link above has some really good discussion on H1N1 if interested.
