Hi guys,

I am new to here. Do you guys think that this will help HLCS tomorrow?

Aug 26, 2009 (Close-Up Media via COMTEX) -- Helicos BioSciences, a life science
company focused on genetic analysis technologies, announced the placement of a
Helicos Genetic Analysis System at the Ontario Institute for Cancer Research
(OICR) with Drs. Tom Hudson and John McPherson.

"We are very excited to be working with such a distinguished institution on the
application of our technology to the study of cancer genomics," said Ron Lowy,
Helicos CEO.

The Helicos Genetic Analysis System is a commercially available, single molecule
sequencing technology, and enables scientists to conduct studies in the fields
of genome biology, cancer research, common diseases, and microbiology without
DNA ligation or amplification. Genetic analysis with Helicos's technology
eliminates the biases, complexity and errors introduced by DNA amplification,
requires minute amounts of starting material, and provides the most direct and
accurate view of biological samples.

"The translational cancer research we are conducting at our center can benefit
greatly from the advantages of single molecule sequencing," noted Tom Hudson,
President and Scientific Director of the OICR. "We hope to use this technology
for the unbiased and characterization of tumor samples to ultimately lead to
discoveries that have a clinical impact."

Helicos BioSciences is a life science company focused on genetic analysis
technologies for the research, drug discovery, and diagnostic markets. Helicos'
proprietary True Single Molecule Sequencing, tSMS, technology allows direct
measurement of billions of strands of DNA enabling scientists to perform
experiments and ask questions never before possible. Helicos is a recipient of
the $1,000 genome grant and committed to providing scientists the tools to
unlock the era of genomic medicine.

The Ontario Institute for Cancer Research is a new research institute dedicated
to research in prevention, early detection, diagnosis and treatment of cancer.
OICR is a not-for-profit corporation funded by the Government of Ontario through
the Ministry of Research and Innovation.
This sounds like UP to me.

Okay Etien I am in at 1.38. Had to call it in for some reason. The broker explained but he was hard to hear, so not sure what the reason was. Anyone else pick this one up?

Institutions seem to be buying this one slowly. Their entry is around 1.42, once they've taken out the float we're going to $3.

Don't let go of your shares, there is manipulation and you might be tempted to sell when/if we see 1.20, but don't worry it's not relevant and the next leg up will be towards $2+

Don't miss the low entry on TSTR as well. 1.38 is a bit high, I called it at 1.24, but I think the stock has enough energy to go above 1.50 and stay there.

Cheers for the heads up on this stock Etiennester, I managed to get in at 1.25. I'll be loading up another batch when we see a drop, possible during the Friday profit taking? To the stockrants chart guru's out there, do you think we'll see a pull back this afternoon, or early next week?

Here's 1.58

Nice and easy, right Miles? Congrats to you SupremeFire, an entry at 1.25--

I waited nearly 2 weeks more than you did, with an entry as high as 1.14. This move was long waited, and thank god it's holding. I can't wait to see those $5. lol

Great Call Etiennester, I got in @1.26 after your Strong buy call when it was dancing between 1.25 and 1.26 for almost several hours. Now I will hold onto it for $3. What is your strategy on this? when to sell/rebuy? I was in TSTR as well, its been disapointing in the short term. Originally bought @1.10 and sold @2.10. I hurried to rebuy it at 1.70 and currently averaged @1.46. Will average down @1.18 if it goes there again. But back to HLCS, again great call on this one. Thumbs up to you. Hope we do not see 1.20's again on hlcs.

Etiennester: Again with the timely call for huge gains! I went out right after I bought in and just noticed the price now. What can I say?? You are the freaking MAN:

HLCS +0.47 (36.72%)

Also props to our man Money123 for starting this thread. Are you guys holding this one long, or do you have an exit strategy?

Great call guys! - Thanks a lot!
