Spec NGSX - FDA decision date 8/16/09

Hi all,

Neurogesx (NGSI) submitted the NDA for Qutenza (their drug) to the FDA on 10/22/2008, and FDA assigned 8/16/09 as its decision date.
NeurogesX Submits NDA for NGX-4010 Dermal Capsaicin Patch for Treatment of Postherpetic Neuralgia (PHN)

I believe the recent run up was due to the anticipation of the preliminary test result of Qutenza.NeurogesX Announces Preliminary Results of FDA-Requested Qutenza(TM) Study

I was not able to find the cause for pps drop for the past week other than profit taking. Yesterday, NGSX announce to hold a conference call to discuss their 2Q financial result on 8/7/2009. NeurogesX to Hold Conference Call to Discuss Second Quarter 2009 Financial Results
