Hey Money
I got in on EDWY about a week ago at 0.06. Would you still hold this one? I am basically breaking even so far. Would you continue to hold this one? Thanks! Coke |

Yeah awaiting the financials on AVVH but you guys need to know when to take profit. Smart to skim profit when you can. I see that CIRC closed nice EOD with good volume but the fact that is pulled back that far I was not happy at all. CIRC still looks good on a chart once the volume comes in the next day it should uptrend quick and accumulate. BB squeeze still and nice 20 MA break today. Never broke .011 resistance but i bet it will soon nice MACD coming around.
Lets hope it plays the charts right and reverses because AVVH chart does not look that good at all it broke a major .009 support and must stay above the .0084 to keep this uptrend. Looks like some people got out with a profit and dumped the rest. Know your stop losses. Hopefully we will find a real good runner this week to make up for those who may have lost some money. We need alot more volume on these future charts if everyone is going to be jumping in on these picks. I keep expecting a slow steady uptrend but it takes off too fast and then causes the chart to spike and pullback. I will be keeping my picks to Nas New York and AMEX pennys more often because our trades are more built into the volume wise. Most of these OTC and OTCBB run on MOMO or momentum caused by people talking about the stock in newsletters or 90% time PRs. If there is alot of volume in OTC and OTCBB to start off with and the chart is telling me its bullish I will tell you guys about it but 90% of the time they are day trades and my whole new method was sleeper plays that uptrend. Always do your DD on a stock I hope you guys know I am not bulletproof with my picks I do alot of DD on them for hours and it takes me time and energy. I post everything I know. We are of course playing most risky trades in the stock market penny stocks.

As far as AVVH, think I'm gonna stay in. It was really surprising to see the stock drop as much as it did today, but I'm hopeful the next set of PR will bring it back. |

AVVH has ugly charts.. man! Same with CIRC. Personally i would watch AVVH for wild volume swings but this is one of those u take ur profits and don't look back and don't hold long term.

What sort of things do you look for on the chart? I've been learning on the fly recently and mainly using stockcharts. These are some of the assumptions i make, let me know what you think, or where my assumptions are wrong. Typically i look at the RSI which if its below 50, it's a good sign. Also, with the MACD, I like the blue bars to be below zero, but trending upward (which was the case with AVVH until today looked like it stalled). The last thing I look at are the 12 & 26 EMAs (The red and black lines on the MACD graph) to see points on the graph where they were at the same level, then compare the stock price to see if it's up/down in comparison. I tried to convey that on the image, hope it makes sense. Thanks! |

Before trading any stock i check out the volume because i want to make sure its high enough and volatile so I will be able to enter and exit and not have to hold the stock too long. Once I open up the chart, I like to look at the 200 and 50 day moving averages, see whether its trading around it. If its too high up then I will zoom out of the graph and compare current pps to say maybe 6 months to a 9 months to see what resistance it met prior. If it's trading below those moving averages then i'm already interested, so now I start to look at why is it down, what happened and why is the volume up. If I see the volume picking up even more, then I look to get in (I put a partial buy, you always want to keep some just incase it dips so u can average down or get out without too much losses). Once I'm in, I would establish my exit point, see where the next resistance and support is and look to trade a few ticks before the resistance. I'm kinda all over the place right now, sorry I've had to work 10 hours and then had 3 hours accounting class - brain is scattered :(. But I think you got the right footing. I like the use of the trendline which shows this one 'might' be on a reversal or pull back a bit before we see an upside. Here are the windows I have open when looking at a chart: Level II (if its available for the stock that is) - like to see how the bids/asks stack up (shows risk) Time and Sales - See which way the momentum is heading News - speaks for itself Charts - I just use two extra studies, Stochastics and MACD. You can add more if you'd like but i think those two do the job for me. I don't like my screen all messy. If all seems okay or in my favor, then i set my entry, wait for fill and then prepare for exit. Anyway - if all my ramblings don't make sense, forgive me. Send me a message or come to the chat room in the morning. It's best to chat while live trading so you can learn as the market moves. |

Got the heck out of AVVH and still holding CIRC would not recommend getting in now unless volume comes in looking at OOIL.
More info on the thread spec play.
