Devil Housing on the Move!

Anyone catch any housing sector plays today on the positive housing sales numbers? Check out the potential upside on some of these below. Of course some (all!) of these guys have terrible balance sheets, so as always do your own DD and tread with caution.

Good reading on the housing report released today: Calculated Risk: New Home Sales Increase in July

HOV moving around @ $5
BZH @ 4.19 up 3.70% <-- I own these guys @ $1.14
SPF @ 4.50 up 4.50%

Penny stocks moving:
WCIMQ.PK up 69%
CHCI up 34%

Hey great article, bookmarked that blog.

I had HOV which I averaged in at around $1.80. Solid older company with a lot of history in housing which I will be holding LONG. You're right the potential profit on some of these builders is crazy but obviously the risk is pretty massive as well. When I try to price them post-recession I tend to go by their levels in summer 2001 as a guide, but who knows really. Good luck!
