Default Beginner: A good economy media and companies who have high activity

Hello.

New here. I wondering about swingtrading.
What good media shall i read and what do i need to know/look at if i gonna be a sucsessfull swingtrader?

I know that i must need to know how the day is gonna be jumpy or cool. But what do I need for news media to read? Do i need to know how the Asain and Europe marked end like?
The economist?
Wallstreat J?
Blommberg?
More advicies?

One question more. If i buy like 25000 USD Bank of America stock. The price is 21.00 USD, then the stock gone up to 21.03. How easy is it for me to sell it? Just one buttonclick and its done? Or do i need to waint some hours/minutes? Or is it hard?

We say I like to sell it for 21.03 USD /stock.

Let me see if I got this straight.

You want to buy 25000 shares @ 21.00 and sell for 21.03?

25000 X 21.00 = $525,000

.03 X 25000 shares = $725

So you want to lay out $525,000 for a 0.0014% gain ?

And by the way, BAC last traded for 8.5 a share

No. If i buy shades for 25000.
25000 / 21 = 1 190 shades.
(I pay the courtage too: 4.95 Zecco)

The i sell the shades when they have gone up to 21.2 ( nvm about 0.03)

21.2 x 1190 = 25 228
Then minus 4.95 USD.
25 228 - 4.95 = 25 223.05

I "won" 223.05 dollars. But the question is: How fast does it take from when i press the sell button, too another trader buy my stocks? Takes it secons? Minutes? Hours?

We say that i buy stocks in companies like Bank of america, Pfizer, Citigroup, Merck & Company, Ford, Microsoft, Intel etc....

If you sell at market, the transaction on a heavily traded stock like BAC would take seconds, if not less.

I guess it totally depends upon the volume or the category of the stock. In case there's a heavy volume in that stock it might take seconds to be done or if there's a very less volume might take another day.

Sure. Any stock on nyse and most on nasdaq will be instant. The exception will be a thinly traded nasdaq stock or otc/bb/pinksheet stocks, in which this is not the case.
