Default Recap JPY Industrial Production (YoY) (JUL F)

Summary:

Earlier today Japan's Industrial Production number came out at +14.2% for July 2010. In July 2009 they came in higher at +14.8%. This illustrates a decline for the month of July year over year.

Take Away Point:

All products, whether sold domestically or abroad, are included in the calculation of industrial production. Industrial production is highly sensitive to the business cycle and can often predict future changes in employment, earnings, and personal income. This number illustrates that Japan continues struggle getting out of it's economic slump.
