Default Pivot Point Calculator

Hi,

Pivot Point Calculators is one of many tools used for technical analysis. Their are some online tools that can be used but I created this simple Excel Sheet so I could work them out for myself. (Attached)

What are Pivot Points Calculators and why do I care:

These are tools to help provide a guide to the Support and Resistance that a Forex, Stock (etc..) has in order to assist the trader is knowing when best* to make their move.

(*Assuming your trading and not gambling :0)

What are Support and Resistance Levels

Here is a good link from Investopedia to assist in learning about Support and Resistance

Hope this is of some use...

Ta

Hi there, if you're trading index futures like the S&P500 then you can find pivots pre-calculated for you here:

Pivot Points - Free Daily Pivot Points and Camarilla Levels

They are surprisingly accurate for predicting support/resistance points.

Why? Because traders are all over them, they think they're accurate therefore they become "self fulfilling"!!
