Default Ford (F): 5 Reasons to be Bearish

1. Increasing strict fuel economy regulations can only increase the construction cost of a car, which will be passed onto customers.

2. The auto industry is extremely cyclical. As well, Detroit automakers such as Ford have been giving up U.S. market share for years to a variety of foreign automakers.

3. Unions will continue to hinder profitability. Nonunionized foreign automakers do not have this issue and will likely try to use to its own advantage.

4. In November 2013 and December 2013 Ford has major debt coming due. There is a real possibility that shareholders get diluted in order to pay it.

5. At this point Ford can’t shake the stigma of “sub-quality” given its past on this topic and this could cost it long-term domestic market share.

$F closed at $11.02 up 2.23%. It has reached near a key resistance level at $11.35. Can we expect a breakout if it manages to break its resistance level? To know more about rest of the stocks which made the list follow: #RUSSELL3000 #Automobiles #Ford #BestPerformers
