Default BP Oil Spill Not as Bad as You Think

Everybody seems to be overreacting about this whole BP Oil Spill Crisis. Yes it is a major problem and yes Obama has screwed up miserably but compared to past oil spills it isn’t even that big of a deal. This whole ordeal has been a perfect example of liberal media exaggerating the effects of the oil spill crisis. Just look how many barrels of oil are spilled a year on accident. That number is huge compared to the BP spill. Maybe everyone should lighten up on the issue a bit and hopefully the government will actually come in and do something about it. how did obama mess up. He didn't spill any oil. He didn't let oil/gas companys bribe us govt workers to go blind on the inspections of oil rigs. Obama has done the best he can to help out the situation. Its not a big deal financially for BP because they are on track to make what, 21 billion this year in NET PROFITS, so whats a couple billion in cleanup costs to them. Not much.

Bummer they still refine horrible gas that clogs injectors and causes more divability issues than exxon.

Obama has messed up by the fact that he has yet to react and fix a major problem. Bush didn't cause Katrina but he went and helped right away anyways.

If BP spill is overhyped, why is their stock down 50% from when it was $60?

I actually think that BP will be paying a lot more in claims then they estimate. They have a CEO who looks like a deer in headlights. Everyday this thing doesn't get capped, the claim estimate goes higher. They will be paying all the small business's that are losing money. All the commercials they are doing are a waste of money because no one cares. Instead of recording commercials, the pipe needs to be capped

/End Rant

The stock is a sell sell sell. There is no way to evaluate it, and while the $25 area could be a complete steal in 5 years, that CEO has no idea how much oil is coming out of the well. He admitted he isn't make decisions on well. WHAT?! And any storm on the well will be an absolute mess. Anyway, this thing could go bankrupt just to repay the claims.
