Sad Watch for major decline in ATK stock...

Alliant Techsystems Inc. ("ATK") is an aerospace, defense, and commercial products company that operates in 23 states, Puerto Rico, and internationally.

ATK has recently notified the employees at their Onalaska, Wisconsin facility that they will be shutting down that location, and splitting the operation up and assigning the operations to other ATK locations throughout the United States.

The Onalaska location is part of ATK's Sporting and Security group, which manufactures the Outers, Gunslick, Champion, and Weaver brands at this location.

It's speculated that ATK plans to demolish the facility and sell or donate the location's property to the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, which already owns the majority of land around the ATK Onalaska Operation. ATK has previously agreed to allow the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service to build a walking trail on to the ATK property.

The notice of this shut down should be a MAJOR RED FLAG to ALL INVESTORS of ATK!

The Onalaska Operation is a complete unit which manufactures most of the parts for the products made within the operation. ATK plans separate the processes to make their products among their other locations, ATK will undoubtedly experience a major cost inflation due to the unnecessary transportation from location to location to complete the process to make their products.

What this mean to the consumer is a much more costly product, which no one wants.

Surprisingly, enough ATK has not submitted a news release to their investors to explain this risky move.

The ATK Onalaska Operation has been around since the 1960's and is a major CASH COW. Why move? Once they finalize this move I believe they will regret it.

Believe me, I'm one of the employees that lost a job because of this GREAT IDEA...
