Big Smile Some more Gold miners

Hey Guys, here is a link to an article from Stock Gumshoe. For those of you

who are not familiar with what this guy does, I will give you a brief description.

He gets those teasers from various stock pick newsletters, and figures out the stock

they are teasing by using the clues they send out, without having to actually subscribe

to the newsletter. Here he is decoding the clues for a couple of African mines. The

comments after the article also mention several more Jr. miners. Im not really into

these type of plays, but thought some of you might be.

Stock Gumshoe Investigates: Tiny co. Pays $3 million for $2.9 BILLION in gold …

Look at it volume and price swings, this seems to be a calm before an upcoming storm. Just not sure of the direction.

I say buy some now and if it pops, enjoy. But if it falls, either be prepared to average down, or to hold for however long it takes for it to come back. IMO.

PS... no biggy, but remember to add your tags when starting a thread. I've gone ahead and added some for you.

Volume has been near zero for a long while now, since that blast to $1.25 in February and the odd move in-between. This is a bit dissapointing (The sideways motion for so long), but not something that is really worrying me. I hold average under a dollar. I take heart in the fact that it has failed to drop back below a dollar and recently below $1.20. The shareholders of SFEG know the score, that this stock is going places and its just a matter of time.

My prediction of $3-8 valuation on current operations stands, however I'm not sure how long it will take to get there

News of production is overdue and delayed about a month. The only thing that will cause me to sell out though is a negative report such as "Oh Noes the mill collapsed into the ground!"

Until then just waiting and hoping XD

Thanks for adding the tags, I didn't see that! XD

Right I've taken the initiative and have written to SFEG. I used the "Contact Us" page on their website, so have no idea if this actually worked, it popped up a message saying "Thanks for the mail!" but that was it.

Here's the email. I hope you all approve and I'll keep you updated if there is a response.

BTW, do you like my new SFEG-pump-avatar?

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am writing on behalf of the trading community at StockRants.com | Stock Market Forum, a new breed of stock market forum with a core membership of hundreds of skillful, prudent investors.

On this forum investors tip and trade all sorts of stocks and in particular we are fond of undervalued small-caps. We have identified Santa Fe Gold Corp as a fantastic investment opportunity, and the presentations, facts and figures show this stock to be both undervalued and due a revaluation soon.

There is however one thing we are concerned about, and that is the delay in production. The February 2009 news release gave an estimate of projection in two months, however there has not been any news about this, or an update and production is now a month overdue.

We understand you are probably very busy right now with getting the mine online, however we would be very grateful if you could give us a brief update as to the status of production and earnings estimates at Santa Fe Gold. With your permission, I would like to put any information you send us stockrants website.

Thank you for your time,
(On behalf of the Stockrants.com Trading Community)
Edit:

Just to let you guys know, one of the moderators here has respectfully asked me to run emails like this past the admin team here before sending, so I suggested to append this on my post -

If anyone wishes to send letters to investor relations depts in the name of stockrants.com could they please run it by a moderator first.

Of course I understand totally and agree this is a good policy in the future, so please take note people, if you want to follow my lead and email companies on behalf of stockrants.com, run it by a mod first!

Even sending from a stockrants.com email address would probably get a better response than my lame GoogleMail address

Well, SFEG seems to be taking a dump today. Plus no response from my email to investor relations.

Great! My first stock pick on Stockrants.com is going great! :/

Morning all, some news out on SFEG, its not looking good.

Summary of SANTA FE GOLD CORP - Yahoo! Finance

Well its not bad either, but its a delay plus the statement "Significant Extra Capital" required does not look too rosy.

I am setting a stop-loss to my break even - which is $0.90.
