These commission rates apply to standard transactions and may change. You should confirm the current rate at the time of dealing and read the terms for all standard transactions as set out in our Customer Terms of Service. All charges in this rate card are shown exclusive of VAT and VAT will be charged at the prevailing rate where applicable.
This part hasn't changed for 3 years, the last time I looked (otherwise I wouldn't have discovered and moved to III). VAT makes a huge difference - anywhere from 20-25%.

So either they are misleading, or their page is wrong.

No clue on whether IB and TDW are the same for FX settlement fees - but you can trade FX directly with IB, I suspect it can't be far off from the spot. However when you fund the account initially, if you do it via VISA debit (or just debit), your bank will take 2.5% regardless! 500 bucks for 20k :| (that's if you don't have any euros to begin with).

I will, however say, IB's phone support is iffy with my past experience.

I am with IB now, I like the software and the option they have but it also make me a bit confuse...
I don't get it, why I can not buy exotic stock like from africa or indonesia?
The system always says the Symbol can not found?!
I do find normal stock like BMW or CocaCola and so on, but nothing exotic?
What's the problem - what do I wrong?
And also I would like to find stocks via WKN or ISIN but I can not find where to put these details in - just via the CompanySymbol - any idea?!

Thanks for help

Each broker has their own way of tagging symbols and exchanges - for example, some will list UK Barclays as BARC-L, or BARC.L, or BARC-FTSE. They should have a symbol listing page.
