Default Clueless ha ha!

Hi I am looking to get involved with buying and selling shares asap as I am making no intrest in my savings and I think there are a lot of underpriced companys out there at the moment.

I am a complete newbe and I don't even have a broker

How should I get going any advice???

Don't be fooled by my avatar, or my love of tea. I'm in the States.

I'm a complete trading noob, (about 5 months) but I can tell you these forums are a fantastic resource.

As for getting started, I'm not qualified to answer that question. I can point you to this thread about brokers:

If you search the threads, I'm sure you'll find plenty of great information, and if you post a question, I'm certain it will be answered by someone better qualified than myself.

Since that last sentence felt like a cop out, I'll just parrot some well-worn chestnuts that have helped me in my not-so-glorious investing career:

Know what your investing/trading goals are.
Know your risk tolerance.
Always do your own homework.

Cheers guys! I have set up an account with iweb now and will be buying shares this week, i'll just log onto stock rants see what you pros are buying and copy you guys easy peasy ha ha
