Default suggestion
Just a suggestion... requiring a small minimum of posts before a person is able to post stock recommendations, this might get rid of some of these pump and dump spammers that occasionally come up.

Also small minimum amount of posts before you can send private messages... that way people won't get spam private messages (which I already do report).

Great idea -- I'm going to talk to Miles and see whether we can implement that. We also need to have people leave detailed posts and not just this is going to double or move this many points - this only applies when people start a thread.
