Default RIFT plc (AIM / OIL)

Tipped on the old site at 4. 5 range, stated awaiting news of farm in deal. It rose up for no real reason a while back and been holding.

Dam thing has the farm in deal now! Woooo. Hit 8.5 earlier today. I know a few of you followed the tip on Google. Let me know if you still have this little beauty

Every small cap oil / mining is popping big time

I bought in at 4.4p... only a VERY small point (£500 worth) but still... sitting at over 7.5p now so I am happy... still I plan to keep it all in there anyway as it is a small amount... who knows if I forget about it for a while (well, with a flag if it looks to b e dipping) then in a year or so it could be in another world...

UPDATE 1-Rift Oil signs farm-in deal in Papua New Guinea | Industries | Energy | Reuters

2 Trillion Cubic feet of gas eh? That's

*Calculates*

At today's price of $5 / 1000 cubic feet they have an estimated reserve of $10bn for that one well, not withstanding higher gas prices in the future.

-- And the market cap of RIFT is £62m.

As they say in the US "DO the matthhhh man, you do the matthh"

So... anyone feel comfortable putting in some short, mid and long term stock prices for this one? I am mulling over investing more in Rift and Afren (where I currently have holdings) or trying CFM... hard to balance the spread of money (which is unfortunately getting a bit stretched) - so also interested in a short term very quick buck with a large size (well for me!!) punt somewhere... hmmm

Got in at 4.7p, looking good. Does anybody know who the mysterious "multi-national oil company" is?

Vic,

Yep i followed your recommedation over on google forums after buying Afren - Got around 8000 shares at 6.4p so a little late to the party but hoping this one pops later in the year. Anyone care to predict a time line for this one?

Ian

This share has been doing well last few days with good volume. So I'm showing a good profit on my small holding now
