Default Sirius Exploration PLC

Folks, please take this tip seriously and do your research. If there is one stock you research make sure it this this one. Then make up your own mind.

This thread of mine is merely to provide a heads up to my fellow investors here. Firstly, look at the video's;

Rather than replicate what has been written before about Sirius, may I suggest that you folks read the following threads below about them from the III website here in the UK. Make up your own minds but believe me, with Obama intent on reducing America's carbon footprint, this is only going to go one way and soon;

http://www.iii.co.uk/investment/deta...ail&id=4877487

http://www.iii.co.uk/investment/deta...ail&id=4966091

Below is the presentation from Dakota Salts of which Sirius owns 51% and will more than likely fully acquire;

http://www.dakotasalts.com/images/st...Dakota_1.3.pdf

The following links will be of much interest too - related to Senator Dorgan of North Dakota who is pushing green technology;

Good luck folks. Please reply with any questions and I would be happy to respond.

Here is an interesting link in terms of numbers and reasonably close in terms of geography:

This is just the start today. There is expected to be an excellent RNS out soon and this will seem very cheap in just 12 months.

Folks, I hope you took my tip on this yesterday.

This is only the start of it with SXX. There is HUGE upside here and this is so undervalued and so off the radar for too long. Check out the links I have posted above and please research properly before investing. I would not want anyone to invest just on information I have posted on this forum - its merely a heads up which is how I came across SXX some time ago.

GL folks! :)

Had a read through the links seems this has excellent long term prospects, should there be no hick ups. I bort a small position this morning @ 4.55 seems abit much but hopefully be pleasantly surprised if I look again 12 months or so.

Nice one Maxi. This is a long term hold and you will be very well served here if everything gord to plan.

It is still risky until we have further news but all the indications are that the RNS should be out on Friday confirming a number of key milestones for the company.

Best Wishes.

I just bought a relatively small position, but annoyingly I sold 12k shares last week at 2.5p! I was keeping them for the long term but as I needed the funds for another stock I sold them. Regret the decision now! But at the time with the information I had on hand I still think I made the right decision!

Default Sirius Exploration - Dakota Salts - Option Agreements

Late yesterday it was announced that Sirius was granted two options to acquire the remaining 49% of Dakota Salts LLP ("Dakota Salts") from Transparent Holdings Ltd. if this goes ahead this should reinforce the long term prospects of Sirius/stock. Fingers crossed!

Statement below

For Immediate Release: 24 June 2009 Wed 16:04

Sirius Exploration Plc
("Sirius" or the "Company")

Dakota Salts - Option Agreements

Sirius Exploration Plc, the UK-based diversified mining and exploration holding company with interests in North America, China and Macedonia, is pleased to announced that it has been granted two options to acquire the remaining 49% of Dakota Salts LLP ("Dakota Salts") from Transparent Holdings Ltd. ("Transparent") and Sojourn Energy LLC ("Sojourn").
Under the terms of the option agreements, Sirius has until 20th December 2009 to exercise the two options, the aggregate purchase price for Transparent's 24% of Dakota Salts being £240,000 or 9,600,000 Sirius ordinary shares, and Sojourn's 25% of Dakota Salts holding being £250,000 or 10,000,000 Sirius ordinary shares. The consideration for the grant of each option is £1 and the options are exercisable solely at the Company's call.
Dakota Salts holds mineral leases in excess of 5,000 acres in North Dakota, USA, allowing for the exploration and extraction of salt and potash and the creation of caverns for the storage of compressed air for electricity generation and the storage of natural gas and other hydrocarbons. North Dakota is the base of one of the largest wind farm, electricity generation projects in North America with capital investment to expected to exceed $4 billion. Richard Poulden, Chairman of Sirius, commented:
"We are delighted to have concluded these two agreements which would enable us fully to
secure our interests in Dakota Salts. The Dakota project is a key long term asset for our
business as we continue to move our plans forward regarding the potash excavation and
storage projects."

Aye, I came across this today. Looks like they're going for it!

The Dakota Salt project in particular looks very interesting. I'm curious how they'll fund a project of this magnitude though...

The project will be funded by one of two ways;

1. Grant aid/loan from the US Govt as part of the Green budget
2. Possible JV with a partner to mine the potash initially thus leaving the caverns
3. Richard Poulden (Chairman) is also the Chairman of BlackSwan - a Dubai based investment vehicle and he could easily borrow money to debt fund iof needed

Around 70-100 million thats all is needed to get it going,
