For those investors who seem to want to go long on their stock picks Magma is a Co. that I've recently taken an interest in and I do have a small position in. There could not be any thing simpler or greener than what Magma does: drill a hole in the ground where there is a known geological fissure, tap into the heat generated by the earths magma, erect a plant containing a series of turbines, inject water into the hole, extract steam which will run the turbines, produce 1,000's of mega watts of electricity, milk the cash cow. The earths magma is nondepleteable surface or underground water can be used all that is needed is capital and permits to erect the plants. The draw back is that it will take between 6 & 7 years to accumulate the capital get the permits and build the plants; but if the investor is patient the pay off will be more than worth the wait.
