Default GAS.TO, HNU.TO Natural Gas

I am bullish on Natural Gas in the long term. Natural Gas took a beating the past year and it's time to come back with a vengeance. OIL is on its way up due to production cut and demand increase. Natural Gas will follow OIL.

GAS.TO

Benefit of using the Claymore Natural Gas ETF

* The ETF is an easy way to gain natural gas commodity exposure.
* ETF can be used as a hedge against rising energy costs.
* Backed by physical natural gas. The ETF intends to be backed
dollar-for-dollar by physical natural gas contracts.
* Access to a market with high barriers to entry.
* Non Leveraged Exposure.
* Experienced investment Advisor.
* Low Management Fee

HNU.TO I don't recommend holding leveraged ETF for the long term. It suffers from decay. Use HNU for day trading.

For the American Natural Gas ETF check out UNG.

I agree. I think these ETFs will be a good hold for a week or so.

Bought into NGAS.L yesterday for $0.65

Rode the last spike up for a 20% gain and hope to do the same again.

Will be dipping in and out of this over the summer.

It's either bouncing downstairs with the rallys getting bigger or it's finally turned.

Either way there some to be made here hopefully!

Tired of guessing a good entry point for Natural Gas.

GAS.TO.

I'm bought a small position of Claymore Gas ETF today . 200 shares at $7.45.

I'm going to long this one until 2010. Natural Gas should see a bump for the winter season.

James Altucher, an analyst ,who is BULLISH on Natural Gas as well. Watch his video:

The Street

What he says make sense. Ratio of price of oil to natural gas is historical 6:1 It is currently at 16:1 (Oil $65 : Natural Gas $4). Plus due to the current low prices, production is being cut.

So the downside of Natural Gas is low. NG has more room to move up.

I am leery of buying into natural gas companies be it production or exploration or both but I will definitely be watching this one.

since it is summer.... won't natural gas demand be low for this time of year leaving prices to be low?

NYMEX.com: Natural Gas

Hnu price directly relates to the Nymex NG price.

The futures show a decent Contango upcurve.

OK. Thanks. I thought a Contango Upcurve would be a bad thing. Why do you call it nice?
