ALTOONA, Pa., Sept. 10, 2018 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ — Boyer Candy Company, makers of the iconic Mallo Cup are proud to announce the acquisition of the Clark Bar.

Created by the D.L. Clark Company of Pittsburgh, the Clark Bar is currently celebrating it’s 101st birthday by returning to it’s PA roots.

This acquisition has been a long time in the making. Starting over 27 years ago when Anthony Forgione Sr. (1945-2001) owner of Boyer Candy attempted to acquire Clark. The beloved candy bar then went through a series of ownerships but is now coming home to Pennsylvania!

The current CEO & President Anthony Forgione II stated, “The Clark Bar is a piece of American history and I believe this Pittsburgh born icon has a second act coming that will surprise quite a few people.”
Clark Bar will join the Boyer Candy Family of products and will be available through all Boyer Distributors nationwide.

Plans are underway to move Clark’s production to the Altoona facility.
