Alibaba (BABA) Gains As Market Dips: What You Should Know


In the latest trading session, Alibaba (BABA) closed at $162.37, marking a +1.73% move from the previous day. This change outpaced the S&P 500′s 0.22% loss on the day. Elsewhere, the Dow lost 0.31%, while the tech-heavy Nasdaq lost 0.26%.

Prior to today’s trading, shares of the online retailer had lost 9.77% over the past month. This has lagged the Retail-Wholesale sector’s gain of 2.91% and the S&P 500′s gain of 1.28% in that time.
