PITTSBURGH, Aug. 10, 2017 /PRNewswire/ — Federated Premier Municipal Income Fund (NYSE: FMN) and Federated Premier Intermediate Municipal Income Fund (NYSE: FPT) have declared their monthly dividends. The funds seek to provide investors with current dividend income that is exempt from regular federal income tax. In addition, these funds feature income exempt from the federal alternative minimum tax (AMT).

On July 14, 2017, FPT commenced a tender offer for up to 20 percent of its outstanding common shares at a price equal to 98 percent of its net asset value per share in U.S. dollars as determined as of the end of regular trading on the NYSE on the day the tender offer expires.
