Founder Confirms Sale of APEX PR to Managing Partners

TORONTO, Oct. 12, 2016 /CNW/ – On the eighteenth anniversary of one of Canada’s leading independent public relations agencies, APEX Public Relations, founder and majority shareholder, Pat McNamara, confirmed today that managing partners, Linda Andross and Kenneth Evans, will be acquiring 100 per cent share of the agency.
Based in Toronto and managing full service public relations, brand reputation and digital programs for multi-national consumer, corporate and technology brands across North America, APEX has built an award-winning reputation as a fiercely independent and strategic team that drives client business goals.

As a champion and advocate for entrepreneurialism, McNamara will now devote her full attention to her other passion project, Ignite Capital. The not-for-profit helps aspiring Ontario entrepreneurs, who have limited access to start-up funds, the opportunity to compete for seed funding and mentoring.
Andross and Evans will continue in their co-managing roles. Andross will focus on driving creative innovation and growth on the consumer brand marketing and digital fronts, while Evans drives excellence in client strategy, brand reputation, corporate communications, training and issues/crisis management across all practice groups.
